Trump to Suspend Immigration Because of Coronavirus

 

WASHINGTON, D.C. – President Donald Trump tweeted Monday that he would stop immigration into the United States because of Coronavirus.

"In light of the attack from the Invisible Enemy, as well as the need to protect the jobs of our GREAT American Citizens, I will be signing an Executive Order to temporarily suspend immigration into the United States!"

The President is expected to sign the executive order Tuesday. 

The White House offered no details about the planned temporary ban on immigration.
