Police: Sexagenarian Accused of Sharing Lewd Images of Children

 

ABILENE, TX – Abilene Police Officers have arrested 67-year-old Preston Calk, Jr. for promoting child pornography.

According to KTXS, multiple agencies collaborated to execute a search and arrest warrant on Calk’s home. On Wednesday morning Detectives with the Abilene Police Department’s Cyber Crimes, Fraud Unit and the Texas Department of Public Safety served the warrant on a home in the 500 Block of Poplar Street.

Calk has been accused of downloading and uploading child pornography online.  Authorities seized electronic evidence from the house.

Calk’s bond has been set at $25,000.
