SAPD: Teen Arrested After Stealing Truck and Firearms

 

SAN ANGELO, TX – San Angelo Police Officers have apprehended a 17-year-old connected to the theft of a vehicle and several firearms.

According to SAPD, on Monday, April 13, the teen, identified as A. Tucker, allegedly stole a black 2015 Ford F250 that had several firearms inside the passenger compartment.

On Tuesday, April 14, officers received information that the stolen pickup was located at 2123 Industrial Avenue at the Stadium Oaks Apartments. Around noon officers located the truck and found it was unoccupied.

During their investigation, Tucker was identified as a suspect and officers discovered he was inside an apartment with a handgun. S.W.A.T and Anti-Crime officers responded to the apartment complex to assist with the apprehension. Officers made contact with Tucker via a patrol unit’s PA system and he surrendered peacefully.

One of the stolen firearms was discovered inside the apartment but several remain unaccounted for. Anyone with information regarding the location of the missing firearms is encouraged to contact the San Angelo Police department at (325) 657-4315. Tucker was taken into custody and charged with Theft of Firearm and Unauthorized Use of Motor Vehicle.
