Police: Suspect Arrested After Coughing At Employees

 

ODESSA, TX – Michael Ray Akins has been charged with five counts of terroristic threats after coughing at employees at a Verizon store.

According to CBS7, the 35-year-old had tried to walk into the store even though the store was closed to the public. Adkins became upset and after coughing on employees he told them “I hope you all get sick.”

Adkins drove away from the scene and was located later in the day. Authorities did not disclose if the suspect has tested positive for coronavirus.

Making terroristic threats is a Class B Misdemeanor.
