ExxonMobil Donates $100,000 in Aid to West Texas Food Bank

ODESSA, TX – In an effort to help those who are struggling financially with the coronavirus pandemic, ExxonMobil announced they will be donating $100,000 to the West Texas Food Bank, according to CBS7.

“We’re proud to be able to help the communities where we operate and call home,” said Staale Gjervik, senior vice president at ExxonMobil Upstream Oil and Gas Company and president of XTO Energy. “With school closures, job disruptions and health risks, thousands of West Texans are turning to the West Texas Food Bank for much-needed support.”

The West Texas Food Bank serves 19 counties in the state and serves as a distribution center. Volunteers and staff sort and process donated products, assist with pantry clients and help with gardening needs. Donations to the West Texas Food Bank can be made online at the following link.
