Midland Based ProPetro to Layoff More Than 300 Employees

 

MIDLAND, TX – Midland based ProPetro recently announced that it will be laying off more than 380 workers at its local facility off of FM307, according to RIGZONE.com.

Their first round of layoffs was on March 26 and are expected to be permanent, according to a notice the company submitted to the Texas Workforce Commission. 

The company currently has no significant committed growth capital expenditures through the remainder of 2020.

ProPetro is a Texas-based oilfield services company providing hydraulic fracturing and other complementary services to leading upstream oil and gas companies engaged in the exploration and production, or E&P, of North American unconventional oil and natural gas resources.
