Police: Drunk Driver Arrested Following Hit and Run Crash

SAN ANGELO, TX –  Frances Marie Arispe age 40 was arrested for driving while intoxicated following a traffic stop Wednesday in the 1000 block of East 24th Street.

According to officers with the San Angelo Police Department the stop was initiated after an officer observed a vehicle traveling with extensive exterior damage, multiple airbag deployments, and the vehicle’s horn blaring. Further investigation revealed Arispe was involved in a hit and run crash prior to this stop.

Arispe was released Tuesday morning after posting a $1,000 bond.
