AUSTIN, TX – As businesses continue to close and lay off workers, states across the county have experienced significant increases in unemployment numbers.
According to KTXS, in Texas the number of claims by 862% in the last week alone. Texas has the “fourth biggest increase in jobless claims last week with 139,250.”
Unemployment claims have reached 6.6 million nationwide.
