Coronavirus: Eastland County Judge Confirms First Case of COVID-19

EASTLAND, TX –  Eastland County Judge Rex Fields confirmed Monday in Commissioners Court the first case  of COVID-19 virus in the county. The person in question was tested in Comanche County and currently resides in Cisco Texas.  As the virus spreads across the U.S, including Texas more and more cities are leaning to shelter-in-place orders to combat the spread of the Coronavirus.

The city of Brownwood currently has two confirmed cases, and the Permian Basin has added a third confirmed case as of Monday.

Although there are currently zero confirmed cases in the Concho Valley the state of Texas currently has 334 cases with 5 deaths.
