Women of Distinction Event Moved to August Amid Coronavirus Fears

 

SAN ANGELO, TX – The City of San Angelo has postponed the Women of Distinction event scheduled for March 19th until later this year due to Coronavirus fears.

The event honors local women leaders whose “leadership, professional accomplishments, and community contributions” inspire the community to make the world a better place.

The event was scheduled to be held at the McNease Convention Center and has been moved to August 27th.

This year’s honorees were the following women:

  • Bonnie Lou Campbell
  • Clarisa Fisher Darby
  • Billie F. DeWitt
  • Mary Frentz
  • Camille Yale

The proceeds from this annual event support the Girl Scout leadership program.
