Deputies Arrest 16 Illegal Aliens in Brewster County Mountains

 

ALPINE, TX – In collaboration with U.S. Border Patrol Agents, Brewster County Deputies began tracking a group of suspected illegal aliens through the mountains of central Brewster County.

According to a Facebook post by the Brewster County Sheriff’s Office, after several hours of pursuing the group, agents and deputies apprehended 16 suspects.

Authorities determined the group was here illegally and were originally from Mexico and Guatemala.

The illegal immigrants will be processed for prosecution and deportation by Border Patrol Agents.
