District Attorneys Endorse Hanna for Sheriff

SAN ANGELO, TX – Two more area district attorneys recently announced their support for J. Nick Hanna for Tom Green County sheriff in the Republican primary.

According to a press release, Coleman County District Attorney Heath Hemphill and Brown County District Attorney Michael Murray both voiced their public support for Nick Hanna.

Hemphill wrote: “In the 3 terms that I have served as the Coleman County District Attorney, I have had numerous opportunities to work with then Texas Ranger Nick Hanna. Most of the occasions involved my office or other local law enforcement agencies seeking his advice or assistance in the investigation or prosecution of a major felony case. Two of those cases were Capital Murders.

“It is my opinion that you could not find a more honest, straight-forward and competent law enforcement agent. I think that it is also very important to note that Ranger Hanna always displayed a lot of forward thinking and patience when dealing with tough cases. That is an attribute that becomes paramount when you are not only solving crimes, but leading an agency as an administrator.

“I can say that in my opinion, Nick Hanna would make an excellent Sheriff to lead any size department.”

Murray wrote: “I’ve known Nick Hanna for most of my professional career. I am currently the 35th Judicial District Attorney and I have held that position since 2004. Prior to that, I was an assistant district attorney for about 10 years. I am a career prosecutor. I have worked with state and federal law enforcement from around the country. Nick Hanna is by far one of the best. Nick and I have worked on numerous cases together over the years. He has always proven to be a top notch investigator regardless of the magnitude of the case. I have seen him handle routine cases to extremely high profile cases with the expertise of a seasoned investigator. Nick is insightful, intelligent, hardworking, and honest. I would without hesitation entrust Nick Hanna with all things I value most dearly. Elect Nick Hanna as the next Sheriff of Tom Green County and rest assured that you got the best man for the job.”

J. Nick Hanna has 30 years of distinguished experience in law enforcement. Hanna is the current chief deputy in the Tom Green County sheriff’s office. Prior to that, he was a Texas Ranger for 16 years and served as a Texas State Trooper and on the police forces of two West Texas communities.

Hanna is a candidate in the Republican primary for Tom Green County sheriff. Early voting ends today, February 28. Election day is March 3.

Oh, don't bother questioning the good ol' boy, smokey backroom San Angelo Mafia Illuminati about anything. They'd rather tap connections in local intel and organized crime to have you drugged, doxxed, subject to the meanest rumors the cheerleading squad can muster and spun around until you're dizzy before they answer any questions or commit the heresy of introspection. You'd have better luck typing any questions or remonstrations at Genghis Khan.

Hanna seems like a good candidate, FWIW. Seems like the kind of guy you'd hate if you had any crimes planned.
