Police: Babysitter Indicted for Allegedly Assaulting Two Children

ABILENE, TX – A 19-year-old babysitter was indicted on two counts of aggravated assault of a child. 

According to KTXS, Steven Avery Renfro is alleged to have sexually assaulted two boys, ages 10 and 13, when he was babysitting them back in December of 2015. Renfro was 15 years old at the time of the alleged assault.

The allegations were first made in September of 2018 and police arrested Renfro in September of 2019. He was released on a $20,000 bond.
