Commissioner Endorses Hanna for Sheriff

SAN ANGELO, TX – Tom Green County Pct. 4 Commissioner Bill Ford Tuesday endorsed Nick Hanna for Tom Green County Sheriff.

Ford made the announcement in the Keyes Building saying, "We really need Hanna for Sheriff."

Hanna is a retired Texas Ranger and Chief Deputy at the Tom Green County Sheriff's office.

Hanna is one of two candidates in the Republican Primary March 3, 2020.

Tom Green County Sheriff's Lt. Keith Muncey is also running in the GOP primary for Tom Green County Sheriff.

The Tom Green County Coalition Against Violence is hosting a sheriff's candidate forum Tuesday evening at 6:30 p.m. in the Sugg Community room at the Stephens Central Library downtown.

The winner of the GOP primary will become the next Tom Green County Sheriff because there is no candidate in the Democrat primary and no independent candidate running.

Current Tom Green County Sheriff David Jones announced last year he would not be seeking reelection.
