SAN ANGELO, TX – World Class bar-b-que cooks converged on the San Angelo Fairgrounds Saturday for the 10th annual Championship BBQ cookoff competing in four categories for the title of Champion and bragging rights while raising money for the San Angelo Stock Show and Rodeo Scholarship fund.

Each team paid an entry fee and had a tip jar to raise money for the scholarship fund.
Cookoff teams competed in jalapeno poppers, chicken, ribs and brisket.
The top three teams were recognized in jalapeno poppers and the top five teams were awarded in chicken, ribs and brisket.
The top three teams overall were: A's Trucking grand champion; Nobody's BBQ Reserve Champion; and Wet Texas Smokehouse third overall.
