THROCKMORTON, TX – School campuses in the Throckmorton CISD will have a longer MLK break after the schools are closed because of an outbreak of the flu.
According to KTXS, on January 20, more than 20 percent of students in the school stayed home from school due to the flu Monday.
The school district has now announced that they will be closing down schools until Thursday.
"We will be calling no school tomorrow and Wednesday to let germs die down as we do a deep disinfect of classrooms," the District said in a Facebook post.
