WATCH: Toyota Slams into the Back of GMC Pickup at Busy Intersection

SAN ANGELO, TX – Three people escaped injury Tuesday during a noon hour crash at the intersection of Sherwood Way and Oxford. 

According to San Angelo Police Department Traffic Division investigating officer Welch, a blue GMC pickup was westbound on Sherwood Way stopped at the signal light at the intersection.

The driver of a gray Toyota Corolla was also westbound behind the GMC.  Officer Welch says the driver of the Toyota failed to control her speed and crashed into the back of the pickup. 

Traffic was slowed at the intersection while officers investigated the crash. 

The driver of the Toyota was issued a citation for failure to control speed.
