Wanted Suspect Tear Gassed After Refusing Arrest

 

ABILENE, TX – David Brent Adams, 35, was arrested after a SWAT standoff at an RV park on Christmas Eve. Adams was listed as one of Abilene’s Wanted Criminals on July 24 of this year for aggravated assault.

According to KTXS, Street Crimes Agents saw Adams outside his RV in the 900 block of ES 11th Street. 

Adams went inside his RV and refused to come out after agents approached and identified themselves as peace officers. He refused numerous attempts by police to establish communications and police eventually fired tear gas into the RV to get Adams to surrender.

Adams’ bond was set at $202,500.
