WATCH: Driverless Chevy Crashes into Concho River

SAN ANGELO, TX – A Chevrolet pickup ran off the roadway in downtown San Angelo and wound up in the Concho River Monday.  

The pickup entered the river across the street from the Arbor Terrace Senior Center in the 600 block of Rio Concho Drive.

According to witnesses at the scene, the driver of the Chevy pickup said he parked his vehicle at the business across Rio Concho Dr. from the river and went inside. 

He said he put the Chevy in park but it wound up in the river. 

San Angelo Police were dispatched and supervised the scene as the pickup was removed from the river. 

No one was injured but there was visible damage to the pickup.
