SAN ANGELO, TX – A father-son quarrel ended with the son hospitalized with multiple head and back contusions.
According to the affidavit signed by Justice of the Peace J.P. McGuire, on December 17, officers with the San Angelo Police Department were dispatched to Shannon Medical Center for the report of a man who had been assaulted,
When officers arrived they met with the victim who told them that he had been beaten with a baseball bat by his father, Donald Spradley, 55.
Further investigation revealed that the two were in the residence on 1000 block of N Monroe and got into an argument, The dispute escalated and the victim was allegedly attacked by Spradley, During the attack, the son said his father wielded an aluminum baseball bat and struck him.
While at Shannon's ER, the victim was treated for multiple contusions to the head, forearms and back. Police said the bruises were consistent with being assaulted.
After being questioned about the assault, Spradley admitted to attacking his son with the bat.
Spradley was charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. His was booked into the Tom Green County Jail December 18 at 1:12 a.m. He was released on a $30,000 bond later that day at 6:13 p.m. The report did not say how old the victim was.

They don't tell you the kid is a 26 year old and was drunk at the time and was abusing his father. Which is a regular occurrence.He does not live with his father.I hope the facts come out that the father was actually defending himself but for whatever reason the Newspapers and media want top distort things for the Headlines.
