Local Man Charged with Aggravated Kidnapping

Jimmy Perez, 33 of San Angelo, was arrested Monday for Aggravated Kidnapping after restraining a 30-year-old female acquaintance who was attempting to leave his company.

Perez and the victim were located at a residence in the 700 block of Preusser after the victim’s family member told police the victim had been missing for several days and believed she was being held against her will at the residence.

During the field investigation, police learned the victim had been a guest at the residence but was later restrained and assaulted when she attempted to leave.
