Soggy Start to Black Friday in San Angelo

 

SAN ANGELO, TX – San Angelo shoppers who got up early for Black Friday deals were met with fog and rain this Friday morning and it could rain all day. 

According to the National Weather Service office in San Angelo, there is a 40 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms with patchy fog before noon.

Otherwise, it'll be mostly cloudy, with a high near 77. Breezy, with a south wind 5 to 10 mph increasing to 15 to 20 mph in the afternoon. Winds could gust as high as 30 mph.

Numerous light showers along and east of an Ozona, Mertzon, Abilene to Throckmorton line at 7:35 a.m. will produce a few hundredths inch of rain this Friday morning as they move quickly northeast. Fog and drizzle otherwise will reduce visibilities down to a mile at times this morning.

The rain will end Friday and the weekend will be breezy with mild temperatures in the 60s and 70s.
