ODESSA, TX —The Permian Panthers could not slow down the one-loss Arlington-Martin Warriors Friday night. Permian had won seven of their last eight before their area round playoff exit. Martin's loaded roster overwhelmed the now 7-5 Panthers. They had too much speed at too many positions for Permian to account for.
The final score was 71-28, and Martin had eight different players score the ten touchdowns. You can read a full recap of the game here but flip through the images above for a look at the action and a peek at the gameday experience of historic Ratliff Stadium.
Martin moves on to the Regional Semifinals and will play the winner of Saturday's Duncanville (11-0) and Flower Mound (8-3) match up. Duncanville has not lost since last year's State Championship game against Galena Park North Shore where North Shore won on a last second hail mary.
