WATCH: Multiple Vehicle Wreck Sends One to The Hospital

SAN ANGELO, TX - Just after 6:00 pm, SAPD officers responded to a multiple vehicle accident at the intersection of Knickerbocker Rd and Palo Duro Dr. 

According to Officer Beal, a black Dodge Ram was traveling into town on Knickerbocker when it merged onto the turning lane to turn left onto Palo Duro Dr. A single-cab blue Chevy was traveling down Knickerbocker on the right lane and failed to see that the black Dodge was attempting to turn because the fast lane of traffic had stopped due to the train passing through at the next light. The Chevy wasnt able to stop and hit the black Dodge. 

The impact of the Chevy with the black Dodge caused the vehicles to slide into another Dodge Ram that was at the stop sign. One person was taken to the hospital to be treated for injuries and the rest of the drivers and passengers declined medical treatment. 

The driver of the black Dodge received a citation for failing to yeild the right of way making a left hand turn.
