Animal Shelter Still Accepting Animals Even at Maximum Capacity

SAN ANGELO, TX -- The City of San Angelo announced yesterday that the animal shelter is full, but they are still accepting animals.

As previously reported, the City of San Angelo sent out a notice on November 13 regarding the animal shelter being a maximum capacity.

"During times where the shelter is full we will not stop accepting animals," said the head of Concho Valley PAWS Jeanie Wilson. "Only way that we would stop accepting animals is if there is an uncontrollable illness."

The animal shelter doesn't stop accepting but instead encourages adoptions during times of overpopulation.
