SAN ANGELO, TX -- A new business is being built right now just off the Concho river in Santa Rita.
In February of this year the company Siber Investments II, LLC met with the San Angelo City Council and was approved of a 1.2 million dollar project that would bring storage units to the river side property.
The construction began earlier this month but no word yet on the completion of the project.
The storage units, located in Santa Rita, will take up 1.47 acres. The zone where the building is located is originally a Neighborhood Commercial zone meaning businesses in the area are supposed to neighborhood oriented businesses.
Businesses such as storage units do not classify as this so the company asked the San Angelo City Council to rezone the district to make it a neighborhood center.
The storage units will be located at 909 West Beauregard. The previous business located there was a used car lot that has been vacant for some time.
Here is a drawing of the what it will look like when it is completed.

The owner of the business also owns both Chik-fil-a locations in San Angelo and plans to open a corporate location beside the units.
