SAN ANGELO, TX — On U.S. 277 near the Door Key Road intersection south of San Angelo, three vehicles were involved in a high-speed crash. The speed limit on that stretch of highway is 75 mph.
According to officials at the scene, just one person was transported to the hospital. The injuries were not believed to be life threatening.
Involved were a gray Ford F-250, a white Chevrolet SUV, and a black Nissan Titan.

The Texas DPS is investigating the cause. Both the black Titan and the F-250 have damage to the rear. The SUV was crushed in the front. DPS would not detail how the crash happened until the investigation is complete.
The crash happened at around 9 a.m. The roadways were dry and the skies clear.
