Odessa Businessman Joins Crowded Field of Candidates for Congress

ODESSA, TX – Odessa businessman and ministry founder Jamie Berryhill announced Tuesday he is running for U.S. Congress in District 11. 

Berryhill joins an already crowded Republican field including several candidates from the Midland-Odessa area and San Angelo. 

Berryhill said he plans on joining the Freedom Caucus and help President Trump to 'drain the swamp.'

"Washington DC is torn and our righrts are being hi-jacked by a globalist, social agenda.  There are career politicians and fake conservatives continually failing us on false promises to stand up for rights, repeal Obamacare, secure the border, defund Planned Parenthood and support the President – it is time to end the disappointments and broken promises." said Berryhill. 

"We have allowed our politicians to replace God with big government, and the American people are dealing with the consequences – a rise in socialism, promises of free healthcare and college, and abortions until the moment of birth.  We are in a fight for the soul of our country and that's why I'm running for Congress."  Berryhill said in a news release.
