66th Annual Cinch Roping Fiesta Events Start Friday

 

SAN ANGELO, TX – Crews with the San Angelo Stock Show and Rodeo Association are putting the finishing touches on the outdoor arena and fairgrounds today in preparation for the 66th annual Cinch Roping Fiesta this weekend. 

The popular annual event includes the Cody Ohl Junior World Championship ropings and preliminary roping Friday in the Spur Arena. 

All events in the 1st Community Credit Union Spur Arena and the vendor show in the Cattle Barn and Coliseum are free admission.

The only ticketed events are the Invitational Calf Roping & Match Roping, which are $12, and the Steer Roping and Double Mugging, which are $10.

There is a Cowboy Christmas craft show in the Coliseum and the Housley Communications barn and food vendors are located between the Coliseum and the outdoor roping arena. 

The Invitational Calf Roping and Match Roping get underway at 1 p.m. Saturday in the outdoor arena and the Invitational Steer Roping and Double Mugging are Sunday beginning at noon.
