Volunteers Needed For Christmas At Old Fort Concho

SAN ANGELO, TX – Christmas at Old Fort Concho is right around the corner and they are in need of volunteers to continue supporting this iconic community event. The event has been part of the San Angelo Christmas season for over 38 years and is key to preserving and restoring Fort Concho.

Christmas at Old Fort Concho is a wonderful holiday festival with shopping, food vendors, ongoing entertainment, historical re-enactors, kids events and much more all on the historic fort grounds.

The fort is asking for volunteers to sign up for two-hour shifts to ensure that they can serve the thousands of visitors the event draws every year. Volunteers can assist in ticket booths, coke booths, as door greeters, and in many more ways. Volunteers enter the event free the day of their shift and are provided a drink ticket.

The event is a wonderful opportunity to give back to the community and be a part of a very important event. This year’s event will run the weekend from December 6th to December 8th.
