SAN ANGELO, TX – The driver of a Chrysler 200 was sent to the hospital Monday afternoon after crashing her car into a Ford Taurus at the intersection of N. Chadbourne and 29th Streets.
According to San Angelo Police Department Traffic Division investigating officer Loudermilk, the woman was northbound on Chadbourne.
There was a Ford Taurus westbound on 29th St. The Taurus had a green light and was attempting to turn left onto Chadbourne.
The driver of the Chrysler told officers she didn't stop in time and crashed into the Taurus.
The woman driving the Chrysler was transported to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
She was also issued a citation for failure to yield the right of way.
While police were investigating that crash, a white Chevrolet pickup and a white Chrysler four door sedan were northbound on Chadbourne.
Officers say the pickup was in the right lane and changed lanes to the left lane crashing into the Chrysler.
No one was injured in the second crash.
The driver of the pickup was issued a citation for making an unsafe lane change.
