COLORADO CITY, TX -- A elderly man died yesterday morning after rolling his 1969 Ford pickup.

According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, on September 30, the Troopers with the DPS were dispatched four miles west of Colorado City on I-20 for the report of a major motor vehicle accident.

When they arrived, they found a 1969 Ford pickup that had rolled over. The driver had serious life threatening injuries and was transported to the University Medical Center in Lubbock where he later died.

After further investigation, the pickup was traveling west on I-20, went off the roadway, and rolled over.

The driver was not wearing his seatbelt.

The troopers responded at 5:35 a.m. The road and weather conditions were partly cloudy and dry.
