SAN ANGELO, TX -- A Barbie doll that is dressed to celebrate the Mexican Holiday "Dia De Los Muertos" will hit the shelves Thursday.
According the manufacturer Mattel, they will be releasing a limited-edition Barbie in honor of the Mexican holiday Día de los Muertos, or "Day of the Dead." The doll will be dressed in an elaborate crown with monarch butterflies and bright marigolds and a long velvet black dress.
The doll's face is painted with a traditional skull mask in celebration of the holiday that honors lost loved ones.
Dia De Los Muertos begins October 31 and goes until November 2.
This Barbie will begin selling at Walmart and Amazon on Thursday for $75.
