Chase Ending on Chadbourne Leads Police to Find Marijuana

 

SAN ANGELO, TX -- A man with marijuana attempted to flee from police yesterday but instead went to jail. 

According to the San Angelo Police Department,  on August 21, the an officer arrested a man after he fled from a traffic stop. 

The chase started at 12th and Oakes and was quickly stopped by 12 and N Chadbourne. 

After officers stopped the driver, they identified him as 31-year-old Michael Williams. 

Williams' vehicle was searched and police found under two ounces of weed. 

Williams was taken to the Tom Green County Jail and was charged with evading arrest with a vehicle and possession of marijuana. 

He is still in the TGCJ and his bond is set at $11,000.
