Heavy Traffic Expected Due to Road Construction on FM-2288

 

SAN ANGELO, TX -- The Texas Department of Public Safety will be repaving a large section of FM 2288 this weekend. 

According to TXDOT, the ten-mile stretch of FM-2288 from Arden Rd. to US-87 in Grape Creek will be repaved this afternoon until tomorrow night. 

Only one lane will be opened and it will be led by a pilot car during the day. At night the road will open back up to multiple lanes. 

Heavy traffic is possible and a 15-minute wait is expected. 

Crews will begin working at 7 a.m. and will work until dark.
