Board names Joel Rivera as New CEO for Boys & Girls Club of San Angelo

San Angelo, Texas—Boys & Girls Club of San Angelo is pleased to announce that Joel Rivera is the new CEO of the Boys & Girls Club of San Angelo.

Joel has more than 20 years of experience as a Boys & Girls Club professional. He has served in a variety of positions in Boys & Girls Clubs in Chicago, Baltimore, and several clubs in California. Joel is a Chicago native and a club kid from the Boys & Girls Club of Chicago. His interests include attending concerts, and seeing movies. Joel likes to travel and sitting by the ocean. 

“I am, humbled and excited to be the next CEO for the Boys & Girls Clubs of San Angelo," said Joel. "My live has been dedicated to young people and I will continue this dedication with the children/teens of San Angelo. I am looking forward to working with the board, staff, and community in fulfilling the organization’s mission so that our kids have the ultimate club experience they so do deserve.”

Boys & Girls Club of San Angelo has been a part of the San Angelo Community since 1965. The Boys & Girls Club of San Angelo provides after school mentoring programs in education, leadership, physical activities, arts, technology, and abstinence from at risk activities.
