Deputies Capture Four Illegal Aliens Carrying 300 lbs of Pot

BREWSTER CO. TX -- The Brewster County Sheriff's Office captured four illegal aliens carrying 300 pounds of pot on Thursday morning. 

On July 11, the BCSO along with the CBP Air and Marine Unit and US Border Patrol Agents tracked down four illegal aliens who were smuggling around 300 pounds of marijuana. 

One of the suspects who was apprehended was previously caught in the same area in 2016 and spent two years in prison for smuggling. 

One more suspect is still on the run but his contraband was seized.

After the arrest the four were transported by helicopter with the evidence to border patrol agents.
