ABILENE, TX -- A woman was indicted by a Taylor County grand jury for allegedly running over her husband.
According to KTXS, on February 10 at around 3:15 a.m. the Abilene Police Department were dispatched to the 2000 block of Grand st. for the report of a major motor vehicle accident where a man had been ran over.
When police arrived they found Krystal Davis, 36, kneeling over the man later identified as her husband Anthony Davis. He was taken to the hospital and was in critical condition due to a large head wound.
When police initially asked what had happened, Davis told them that the two had gotten into an argument because she was "speaking to strangers."
She said that Anthony then walked away from the scene and when she went to look for him she found him already on the ground.
After further investigation officers noticed a dent of the driver's side fender of Krystal's car and the driver side of the mirror was bent.
When police asked her about the discrepancy in her story and she completely changed it.
She then told police that Anthony reached through the window to try and choke her so she put the car is revers and ran him over. According to the indictment, Davis said "She pushed on the gas to get away and the next thing she knew, Anthony was on the ground."
