SAN ANGELO, TX — Over 500 San Angelo ISD educators will enjoy three days of professional learning and collaboration during Learning Palooza, San Angelo ISD's annual teacher learning conference.
During the conference, teachers will have the opportunity to attend over 50 sessions providing them with ideas, resources and information on ways to take their lessons to the next level, integrate technology into the classroom and use effective classroom management strategies.
Through collaboration with other teachers in their grade level and subject areas, teachers will learn about designing engaging work for students that reflects the SAISD Learner Profile.
The Learner Profile outlines characteristics students need to be future ready and proficient communicators, collaborators, creators, and critical thinkers.
Sessions include topics such as “Science in a Snap”, “Making Math & Reading Stations Fun & Engaging”, “Level Up Your Lessons with Webbing”, and much more.
Many of the sessions will be taught by San Angelo ISD teachers; other sessions will be led by presenters from outside organizations such as ASCD, the Association for Supervision and Curriculum Development, and Math Solutions.
Learning Palooza will take place from 8:30 am-4:00 p.m., June 11 - 13 at Lake View High School.
