HAZARD...TORNADO. SOURCE...RADAR INDICATED ROTATION. IMPACT...FLYING DEBRIS WILL BE DANGEROUS TO THOSE CAUGHT WITHOUT SHELTER. MOBILE HOMES WILL BE DAMAGED OR DESTROYED. DAMAGE TO ROOFS, WINDOWS, AND VEHICLES WILL OCCUR. TREE DAMAGE IS LIKELY. * THIS DANGEROUS STORM WILL BE NEAR... TWIN BUTTES RESERVOIR AROUND 515 AM CDT. LAKE NASWORTHY AROUND 525 AM CDT. At 459 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over Tankersley, or 11 miles northeast of Mertzon, moving east at 20 mph. Half inch hail and wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph will be possible with this storm. This strong thunderstorm will be near... Twin Buttes Reservoir around 515 AM CDT. Lake Nasworthy and San Angelo State Park around 525 AM CDT. O.C. Fisher Reservoir around 530 AM CDT. San Angelo around 540 AM CDT. Goodfellow Air Force Base around 545 AM CDT. Wall around 555 AM CDT. Veribest around 600 AM CDT. Other locations impacted by this storm include Harriet and Us- 67 Near The Irion-Tom Green County Line. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... Very heavy rainfall is also occurring with this storm, and may lead to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.

Power outages have been reported in downtown San Angelo and east San Angelo.
Debris has been reported on scanners. There are reports of tree limbs down near San Angelo stadium.
There are reports of debris in the roadway and downed power lines in Dove Creek.
Scanner reporrts indicate debris on FM 2335 and downed utility poles.
UPDATE:
Storm damage reported around Angelo State University and in College Hills with tree limbs blocking roadways.
Power outages are reported across San Angelo and the surrounding areas. This storm continues to cause damage.
This is a dangerous situation.
UPDATE:
Reports of collapsed buildings are coming over the scanners. First responders are on the scene on E. 26th St. at a collapsed house call. No injuries reported.
Another building collapse has been reported on Irving St. Power lines and tree limbs are down in a widespread area.
There are reports of flooding and vehicles trapped in the water on Southwest Blvd, near McDonalds and also on Jackson St. by ASU.
This is a developing situation.
