City to Gradually Restore Water Pressure in Southwest San Angelo

SAN ANGELO, TX -- UPDATE: To minimize the risk of causing more leaks and breaks in the water system that serves much of southwest San Angelo, the utility will be slowly raising water pressures following Saturday's repair of a leak in a 36-inch main that impacted water pressure. Pressures have increased since the repair's completion and should reach their normal operating levels midday Monday.

Back-filling the hole where the repair occurred will happen this afternoon. That will be the final step in the repair before pressures are gradually raised back to normal levels.

We appreciate the patience of our water customers affected by this break. We also express our sincere gratitude to our employees, who spent many long hours making the repair. Again, we apologize for the inconveniences.
