Water Main Break Causing Low Pressure in Southwest San Angelo

SAN ANGELO, TX -- Some water customers in southwest San Angelo have experienced lower than normal water pressure.

According to City of San Angelo Public Information Officer Anthony Wilson, crews are actively working to repair a 36-inch main break that happened late Wednesday evening.

While workers are working as quickly as possible, lower than normal pressure will continue until the leak is fixed this weekend.

Parts are here and installed on the pipe, and welders are completing the installation of those parts.

Although pressure is lower than normal, it has not dropped below thresholds requiring a boil water notice.

This is a developing story.
