Texas Commissioner of Agriculture Weighs in on Tigers in the Rio Grande

SAN ANGELO, TX -- Texas Commissioner of Agriculture Sid Miller weighed in on Tigers that have possibly been spotted in the Rio Grande river.

Yesterday we reported a possible sighting of a tiger in the Rio Grande river. We received the information from the Eagle Pass News Leader that the tiger was seen in Laredo.

"As if Texas didn't already have enough dangerous critters roaming around!" said Sid Miller. "Who needs Chupacrabras when you have real Tigers out in the woods? Perhaps this is a part of a beta test of a new border security program?"

This reaction came from a post on Facebook from Houston's 740 KTRH about Tigers Roaming Freely at the Rio Grande River

This hasn't been the only station that has reported tigers. The Washington Post reported a story about Federal agents found a tiger inside of a duffel bad on the Mexico border.

We do not believe that this tiger was seen after multiple reports say that it was fake.
