NWS: Severe Thunderstorms Possible Tuesday Night

 

SAN ANGELO, TX -- Severe Thunderstorms are possible in San Angelo and the Concho Valley Tuesday night and Wednesday. 

According to the National Weather Service office in San Angelo, a few strong to severe thunderstorms are possible mainly north and east of a San Saba to Barnhart to Sterling City line this afternoon and evening.

Large hail, damaging winds, and cloud to ground lightning will be the main hazards with these storms.

Thunderstorms are possible through the remainder of the week, mainly during the afternoon and evening hours.

A few storms may be severe. Large hail and damaging winds are the primary hazards.

There is a 40 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms Tuesday night and a 50 percent chance on Wednesday.
