SAN ANGELO, TX -- The National Weather Service office in San Angelo has issued a Severe Thunderstorm Warning for North central Schleicher County, Tom Green County, Southwestern Runnels County, Western Concho County and East central Irion County until 8:45 a.m. At 8:11 a.m. a severe thunderstorm was located over Christoval, moving northeast at 35 mph. The main hazard will be 60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail. The radar indicated storm could produce hail damage to vehicles. Expect wind damage to roofs, siding, and trees. This severe thunderstorm will be near... Wall around 8:35 a.m.. Vancourt, Mereta, Eola and Veribest around 8:45 a.m.. Other locations impacted by this severe thunderstorm include Vick, Harriet, The Intersection of Ranch Road 380 and Ranch Road 381 and US-67 Near The Irion-Tom Green County Line.
UPDATE 10:05 a.m.
At 10:00 a.m.doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 15 miles west of Eldorado, moving east at 25 mph.
Half inch hail and winds in excess of 40 mph will be possible with this storm.
This strong thunderstorm will be near Eldorado around 10:25 a.m. Other locations impacted by this storm include the Intersection of Ranch Road 1828 and Ranch Road 915, the Intersection of US- 190 and Ranch Road 1828, US-190 near the Crockett- Sutton County Line and the Intersection of US- 190 and Ranch Road 2084.
