Suspect Arrested for Sexual Assault of a Child

ABILENE, TX – An Abilene man was arrested Thursday for sexually assaulting a a child.

The Abilene Police Department received a tip about a possible sexual assault that had occurred. According to KTXS, they arrested Daniel Esparza on March 28 the same day the assault happened.

Esparza was booked into the Taylor County Jail and was charged with sexual assault of a child. He is currently being held on a $38,000 bond.
