SAN ANGELO, TX -- In a recent article published by registerednursing.org, Howard College’s RN Program was ranked #7 out of 50 Texas Colleges and Universities. Beaten only by LeTourneau University, Texas State University, University of Houston, Texas A&M, Concordia University, and East Texas Baptist University.
The article went on to state, “A nursing curriculum based on principles and concepts from the sciences and humanities is what sets this program apart from others…Howard College is dedicated to providing health care that revolves around people as a whole and fosters communication between patients, families, and professionals.” Upon receiving this recognition Michelle Trubenstein, Dean of Health Professions at our San Angelo Campus stated, “the success of our students and our programs across the district are a direct reflection of our faculty and staff’s hard work and determination to help our students succeed and to produce quality graduates to aid our community and our nations high demand for qualified, exceptional nurses.”
