Police Find 3-Month-Old Baby Near Ecstasy During Search of Abilene Home

 

ABILENE, TX -- Two people have been arrested and a 3-month-old infant has been placed in the care of Child Protective Services after police found ecstasy pills near the child during a search of an Abilene home.

KTXS reports the arrests were made after a Abilene Police served a search warrant at a home in the 3900 block of Lynnwood Lane.

The two arrested were Nicole Deshaun Sykes, 34, and Demetrick Deshaun Kleckley, 43.

Sykes was charged with fraudulent use/possession of identifying information and also had an outstanding warrant for theft.

Kleckley was said to be in possession of the ecstasy as well as marijuana. Police say the ecstasy was within reach of the child.
