SAN ANGELO, TX -- One person was injured in a crash near the Econolodge on Beauregard and Abe Streets in San Angelo Saturday afternoon.

The investigating officer with the San Angelo Police Department said on the scene that a black car was westbound on Beauregard and was attempting to turn left into the Econolodge.
The driver turned in front of another vehicle and they crashed.
The driver of the black car was taken by ambulance to the hospital with non-incapacitating injuries.
The driver of the black car was also issued a citation for failure to yield the right of way.
