Man Indicted After Lewd Acts With a Minor

ABILENE, TX – A man has been indicted for indecency with a child on Thursday by a Taylor County Grand Jury.

In November of 2016, Leonicio Alfredo Sharpe, 54, was arrested after allegedly asking a girl that he knew was under 17 to touch her. According to documents obtained by KRBC, she refused but he did so anyway.

The child then attempted to push Sharpe's hand away but he continued to force himself upon her.

Sharpe has two prior child sex charges and has been arrested various times for not registering as a sex offender.
